The garden of Eden and the Bible’s description of the new earth and the new heaven have a lot of similarities. We learn that the Bible ends as it begins and about God’s Promise in the Book of Revelation.
“In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” Revelation 22:2
No more death to animals
In the end there will be no more death, so no animals will be killed and eaten. Therefore, no more sacrifices will be needed because all that will be needed will be provided by the presence of God.
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, sorrow, crying, nor pain. For the former things are passed away.” – Revelation 21:4
All creatures will live in peace and harmony
Moreover, there will be a magnificent garden and all creatures will enjoy it in harmony forever in the end times.
“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid. A the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp. And the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain. For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” – Isaiah 11:6-9
